This project’s motive was to understand that typography is all about shapes playing together. In this project, we had to select a typeface and create a full deck of playing cards using the type families to create shapes. The typeface being displayed is Garamond designed by Claud Garamond. The outcome of this design was inspired by the research of the typeface, old metal work. All cards are different shapes and color variations to keep them united and distinguishable.
